Whether you are on business, looking for somewhere to stay before your cruise, or hoping to explore the city, the Fairmont Waterfront Vancouver is the perfect place to stay! From the sweeping waterfront views, perfect location, plentiful amenities, and fantastic guest perks, Fairmont Waterfront Vancouver provides guests with a full Vancouver experience.
What To Love About Fairmont Waterfront Vancouver
No matter your needs, the hotel is perfectly located
Regardless of your reason for staying at Fairmont Waterfront Vancouver, the hotel boasts one of the best locations in the entire city. It is located across the street from the Skytrain [Vancouver’s metro] and the station is serviced by multiple lines. The Fairmont Waterfront Vancouver is also across the street from and actually connects underground to the very popular Canada Place.
Canada Place is where you may go for conventions, business, or to leave on your cruise! If you are truly loooking to experience Vancouver like a local, the waterfront bike and walking trail that connects the city to Stanley Park begins right in front of Fairmont Waterfront Vancouver so you are truly just an evening walk or short car ride away from nature. Finally, if you are hoping to explore downtown and the hipster “Gastown” neighborhood, Fairmont Waterfront Vancouver is located within walking distance of all of these locations.
The amenities are top-notch and the guest perks are appreciated
Many hotels have pools, but it is always extra special when the hotel has a rooftop pool with breathtaking views of the city, waterfront, and mountains. We were excited to discover that the outdoor pool was heated so we could take a dip even in the dead of winter. The state-of-the-art exercise room and cozy hot tub were wonderful to use alongside the pool during our three-day stay.
One guest perk we loved was the ability to use the hotel bikes to explore the city. Bike riding is huge in Vancouver so the fact that the Fairmont Waterfront lent them out to guests was super wonderful. Stanley Park is a short and safe bike ride away from the hotel and should be explored by each guest, weather permitting.
Guestrooms are luxurious and feature sweeping city view
Thanks to the triangle-shaped design of the hotel, the majority of guestrooms feature stunning views of the city or waterfront. Our view looked out on Canada Place, the waterfront, and the mountains beyond. We could even see three separate ski hills lit up once it became dark. The floor-to-ceiling windows were an enjoyable way to take in Vancouver, even when the weather wasn’t cooperating.
The guestrooms themselves feature contemporary elegance perfectly mixed with classic detailing. If you are a techie, you are sure to love the multimedia connectivity hubs found in each room at Fairmont Waterfront Vancouver as well as the large flat screen TV’s embedded in the wall. The beds are extra comfortable and come complete with luxurious sheets and the bathroom boasts a rain shower spa and locally sourced toiletries. If you are looking for one of the best hotels in Vancouver with a view, this is one of the top choices!
Fairmont Waterfront Vancouver offers a true culinary experience
Fairmont Waterfront’s new restaurant, ARC, offers simple, local, and handcrafted food. It is situated on the Vancouver waterfront and serves up an array of urban artisan food. By day, ARC is bright and airy, flooded by natural light from the huge windows. By night, it transforms into a sleek dining experience, complete with live music. Hotel breakfast is also served in ARC so be sure to choose your favorite and enjoy the views.
Fairmont Waterfront Vancouver cultivates their own herbs and has a rooftop beehive that produces the honey used in the kitchen. Each jar of honey is marked with the hotel’s logo so you can be confident the food served by the Fairmont is of the utmost quality.
There are luxury options for every budget
Depending on the time of year you visit Vancouver, the Fairmont Waterfront Vancouver may have some very affordable prices for the quality of hospitality they offer. Base prices start around $200-$250 per night and go up from there. The price will change depending on the room and amount of service you choose. No matter which price point you choose, you will still receive the same amount of 4-star service, stunning views, guest perks, and access to the rooftop pool and exercise room.
