10 Prettiest Instagrammable Places In London
Tower Bridge From Saint Katherine’s Pier
The view of Tower Bridge from Saint Katherine’s Pier is easily one of the most underrated Instagrammable places in London. If you are going to take photos from this angle, we highly recommend visiting at sunset! Depending on the time of year you are visiting London, the sun may set right between the bridge making for some glorious warm photography. Even if the sun doesn’t set right through the Tower Bridge, you will be able to get the sunset in the background of your photo for the same look!
While Tower Bridge is a popular Instagrammable place in London, this view only had one other person at it when we visited and this was during sunset so it wasn’t really early in the morning. There are a few views around Saint Katherine’s Pier to take great photos of Tower Bridge so make sure to walk around and find the angle that works best for you! We spent around 20 minutes here taking photos of the sunset before moving on to another location.
Closest Tube Stop: The “Tower Bridge” Tube Stop is the closest to get to this location. It is just a short walk away and really easy to get to.
The Pink House On St. Lukes Mews
In case you didn’t know, a “mews” is essentially London-speak for an alley. Unlike most alleys, the mews in London are usually quite beautiful and photogenic. St Lukes Mews in Notting Hill is one of the prettiest Instagrammable places in London. Our favorite home is the pink homes along the mews. When you are visiting this Instagrammable place in London please keep in mind that these are peoples’ homes and property.
Be respectful and quiet and don’t do a full blown photoshoot in front of their home. Get in and get out! Never, under any circumstances, go on their property like near their door to pretend you are walking into the home or sitting on a piece of furniture out in their porch. The pink homes on St. Lukes Mews are totally worth the trek up to Notting Hill because they are just so pretty and easily one of our favorite Instagrammable places in London.
Closest Tube Stop: Ladbroke Grove Station is the closest tube stop to St Lukes Mews. It is quite a walk but flat and easy, around 3-4 city blocks. It probably isn’t that bad but when we went it just felt long!
The Churchill Arms Pub
If you are looking for the prettiest pub in all of London for Instagram photos, Churchill Arms is the place for you! Our biggest tip for photographing Churchill Arms is to make sure you go when the light is good. Going at “high noon” is going to give you terrible shadows on the pub and it won’t look good in your photos. This is one of our favorite Instagrammable places in London but it is essential to go either really early in the morning or during the sunset. Either way, you want to ensure that the shadows are even across the whole pub. If they aren’t you are going to have to do some heavy editing work to ensure the shots are good.
Churchill Arms offers many photo options and we love taking photos of it from up close and from across the street. You can also take a mid-level shot where you show some of the street and some of the pub. It makes our list of prettiest Instagrammable places in London because the entire pub is covered in ivy and beautiful flowers and windows and flags. It makes for some beautiful London photography and we know you will love it as much as we do!
Closest Tube Stop: Notting Hill Gate is the closest Tube stop to Campden Street and the beautiful Churchill Arms pub. This Tube stop is about 3-4 blocks away from Churchill Arms.
Peggy Porschen Cakes
No list featuring the prettiest Instagrammable places in London would be complete without adding Peggy Porschen Cakes. This little sweet shop is a London Instagram staple and it can get quite busy! The best part about photographing Peggy Porschen Cakes is that the store puts on huge displays outside the front door. During the winter there is a huge display that is Christmas themed. During the fall there are little fall-themed pumpkins that match the decor. During Valentine’s Day, there is a floral arrangement. Peggy Porschen Cakes really does a great job on the decor which is why it is easily one of the most Instagrammable places in London.
Don’t feel you are selling out by visiting Peggy Porschen Cakes, it really is quite a cute place. Our suggestion is to visit either really early or late so that you beat the crowds and so that the light is good. When we visited the light was AWFUL and we didn’t get that many great photos. There was also a line of people waiting for their turn at photographing one of the most Instagrammable places in London. If you don’t want to fight the crowds, make sure to arrive early!
Closest Tube Stops: Victoria Station and Sloane Square are the closest Tube stops to Peggy Porschen Cakes. Either way, you are going to have to walk a few blocks to reach one of the cutest Instagram locations in London.

There is a wonderful river walk that goes right in front of London’s City Hall and a park called Potters Field Park that provides wonderful views of the Tower Bridge. This is one of the best Instagrammable places in London if you want to photograph sunrise because the sun will rise right behind the bridge. It is also a great spot for sunset. If you start your sunset Instagram photos on the opposite side of the river as suggested above and then head over here for the end of sunset and the start of dusk/blue hour you will have a pretty glow right over the Tower Bridge.
There is a wall that you can learn or sit on for a great unobstructed view of the Tower Bridge so there won’t be any people in the background of your view. This is one of the more popular Instagrammable places in London for tourists to visit so keep that in mind when visiting and don’t hog one spot. The best time to visit this London photography location is during sunrise or sunset or any time during a cloudy day!

They are beautiful, unique, and are a monochromatic color. We recommend Ladbroke Gardens as one of the most Instagrammable places in London because it allows you to be creative with your outfits.
